HR Manager - International Scaleup – Coffee Chains –Competitive Salary - New York



We have a fabulous opportunity for an experienced HR Manager, with good knowledge and experience of the whole employee lifecycle administration processes, to join an incredible client in the international lifestyle beverage scale up business.

Your previous experience in a HR Manager role will ensure you are able to provide generalist HR support to the management and wider team to deliver the HR team vision.


Key responsibilities as the HR Manager will include:


  • Employee Lifecycle Support including managing all on-boarding, off-boarding, transfer requests and promotions; track, drive and oversee the joiner and leaver processes; undertake background checks on new starters and maintain HR files for employees

  • Payroll administration – supplying all necessary information / paperwork to Payroll, auditing and validating HR data, updating databases

  • Assisting with talent acquisition

  • Hold new joiner catch ups with employees in their first few weeks, gather insights on the experience and drive engagement with on-boarding activities

  • Managing probation process

  • Developing and implementing recognition strategies to attract and retain staff

  • Assisting with building and managing a culture of continuous feedback for overall growth and development

  • General HR administration

  • Desire and ability to undertake and manage other office management duties

  • Ad hoc HR project assignments

  • and more!

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience as a HR manager

  • Familiar and comfortable in a busy, fast-paced environment

  • SHRM certified qualification or similar HR certification is desired

  • Strong understanding of HR admin processes throughout Employee Lifecycle, general HR and payroll

  • Knowledge of USA employment law and employee relations

  • Highly organised, proactive and professional

  • IT literate including MS Office

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Clear and confident communication skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365
