We are recruiting for a rapidly growing medical device company that has pioneered the development of catheter-based, minimally invasive, neuroendovascular technologies that provide therapeutic advantages for neurovascular disorders.
Key Responsibilities include:
Partner with MVI Business leaders in South Korea to provide financial guidance and support. Manage the end-to-end accounting and finance processes and the application of accounting and finance standards to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of the organization’s financial statements. Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams in other regions to apply best practices and implement process improvements. Develop financial models to support any business decisions as needed, analyze accounting and finance matters and provide business proposals. Lead South Korea ’s local Accounting and Finance team.
Responsible for Accounting team, treasury management, FP&A, tax filing etc
Responsible for monthly closing, financial reports, and analysis reports
Adapt and implement local financial related policies
Partner with functional leaders to develop annual budget and periodic forecasts
Financial Reporting: Analyze financial data by evaluating results and solutions to support business decisions; prepare and present financial information by summarizing data to communicate results in compliance with regulations and stakeholder expectations; partner with stakeholders to drive financial performance that aligns with organizational goals and strategies
Financial Planning and Forecasting: Utilize financial forecast data to provide forward looking projections to facilitate decision making; partner with stakeholders to analyze trends and validate assumptions to provide a forecast that aligns to the organization's goals and strategies
Prepare monthly account flux analysis and report significant changes and drivers to management
Lead external and internal auditing
Analyze, evaluate, and develop financial models to support any business decisions
Lead development of internal processes and SOPs
Manage local Accounting and Finance team and coordinate/facilitate communications with local/global stakeholders
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
What we are looking for:
Desired Qualifications:
CPA or MBA desirable
Broad knowledge of accounting concepts, techniques, and principles, including foreign currency statement remeasurement and consolidations
Skill in analyzing and interpreting financial data, including Excel modelling
Good management skills with the ability to assign and monitor work
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience
A minimum often (7) years of accounting or finance related experience
Proficient with MS Office, PCs, and spreadsheet and accounting software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles
Proficient in writing, reading, and speaking English
